Cutter Slicer Slicer is a classification of cutting equipment in either a batch or a continuous process for the portion cutting of a variety of food products. Cutter, slicer, slicer is the operation whereby products are sliced to specific thickness shapes or sizes.
These can either plain or crinkle cut or other variation of a slice through a product. The operation is simply a means of feeding materials into equipment where they are sliced to required size for further processing.
Sormac, peeler, topper and segmentor system rated from 75 to 85 pieces per minute – depending on materials, application, machine configuration and operator dexterity. Equipped with Model KP-60 peeler with 40" long V-belt in feed and (8) sets of pressure rollers and peeling plates. Peeler discharges into Model WOS-1A topper / segmentor has 16" wide x 96" long conveyor with flights set on 4" centers, topper / tailer alignment belts, positioning system and static mounted knives. Swing arm controller with push button start / stop, on / off switches and pressure roller adjustment dial. Mounted on stainless steel frames with casters.

Urschel, Model CCD, stainless steel, slicer, strip cutter, shredder and crinkle cutter used for a variety of different food products with production and volumes rates per hour – depending on materials, application and machine configuration. Flat Slices: 0.8mm to 12.7mm, Standard Crinkle: 3-1/3 to 5.7 waves per inch Depth of Crinkle: 2.0mm to 2.1mm, Thickness: .040mm to .285mm, V-Slices 4.7 to 8 waves per inch Depth of Crinkle: (4.7) 2.1mm, Thickness: 1.0mm to 2.5mm.
