Shrink bundlers are designed to wrap a single piece or bundle of product in heat shrinkable plastic film. Shrink bundlers are designed to form the plastic wrap around the product or bundle using two rolls or plastic film (with only one notable exception). Shrink bundlers create bundles or product that have open ends know as bulls-eyes on each side of the package. By using film that is much wider than the bundle on a shrink bundler, the size of the bulls-eye can be reduced. By using a film that is narrower than the bundle on a shrink bundler, the bundle of product is wrapped by a band of plastic.
Shrink bundlers take in product and pass the product bundle through a barrier of film that is created by heat sealing the film ends of two rolls of plastic film. As the bundle passes through the film barrier, the top roll of the film wraps around the top of the bundle and the bottom roll of the film wraps around the bottom of the bundle. After the container has passes the heat sealing station, the seal jaws on the shrink bundler come together again to seal the films together after the bundle and to separate the wrapped bundle from the remainder of the film. This action leaves a film barrier created by heat sealing the ends of the film together, which allows the next shrink bundle to pass through the film barrier. The shrink bundle then passes through a heat shrink tunnel to shrink the film around the bundle of product.

Equipped with 27" wide x 45" long Intralox in feed conveyor, 27" wide x 24" long Intralox spacing conveyor, 36" wide film rolls, 37" wide seal jaws with 14¾" vertical travel, 30" wide x 20" long Intralox transfer conveyor to shrink tunnel. Single zone shrink tunnel has 36” wide x 19" high total aperture x 60" long with100" long x 37½" wide Intralox product conveyor and cooling fan. Control panel has AB controller, with touch pad controls and readout, start / stop / e-stop / manual seal push button controls and digital temperature controls for seal bar and tunnel. Mounted on heavy duty base frame.

Tampco, Model FA36, automatic inline, stainless steel shrink bundler and tunnel system. Rated from 1 to 25 bundles per minute – depending materials, application and operator dexterity. Package size range: up to 36" in Width; 11" in Height. Equipped with a 30" wide x 35" long belted roller infeed conveyor, 37" wide upper and lower film rollers, 38" wide seal jaws with 12" of vertical travel and a 32" wide x 26" long belted roller discharge conveyor. Shrink tunnel with 38" in Width x 16" in Height total aperture x 72" in Length heat chamber, 96" long x 34½" wide mesh conveyor with a 31" infeed and discharge height. Digital temperature controls for seal and tunnel, push button start / stop and on / off switch.

Arpac, Model 112-28, automatic inline shrink bundler. Package size range: 7" to 24" in Width; 6" to 18" in Length; 4" to 9" in Height. Equipped with a 24" wide x 20" long in feed conveyor, 29" wide hot knife seal jaw with 9½" of vertical travel, 29" wide top and bottom film carriages and a 24" wide x 16" long discharge conveyor. Dual zone tunnel dimensions: 26" Wide x 16" High total aperture; 83" in Length with 29" wide x 126" long product conveyor with end of tunnel cooling fan. Control panel has Arpac controller with Arpac touch pad controls and readout with heat seal and tunnel temperature controllers, start, stop, and e-stop push button controls with status light bar. Mounted on common base frame. Rate / Speed dependant on materials, application and machine configuration.

Arpac Model BPMP5341, automatic, continuous motion, servo controlled, bottom overlap multipack, shrink wrapper and tunnel rated from 10 to 70 packages per minute – depending on materials, application and machine configuration. Product size range: 3" to 12" in Length; 6" to 18" in Width; 3" to 12" in Height. Equipped with 114" long x 14" wide plastic interlock in feed conveyor, with starwheel product feed and product lane grouper to flight bar product transfer to 34" long x 24" wide overlap wrap conveyor section with 24" long x 22" wide discharge conveyor to tunnel. Dual side film racks with splicer, film dancer with tension rollers and film registration. Film up to 26" maximum in width; 20" in maximum OD with 3" OD core. Shrink tunnel has 32" wide x 20" high aperture, x 132" long heating chamber with 204" long x 26" wide conveyor, 3 heating zones with independent heat controls and air recirculation fans with 2 cooling fans below to cool conveyor belt and top discharge cooling section. Control panel has A/B PLC controller, with touch pad controls with display, flight bar, cycle, power on, stop and e-stop push button controls with product jog, run and registration control switches, safety guarding and status light bar. Mounted on heavy duty base frame.

Eastey Model EB35A, automatic, inline, intermittent motion, shrink bundler. Package size: up to 35" in Width; up to 22" in Height. Equipped with dual 47" long by 30" (2×15") wide flex link in-feed and discharge conveyors, 36" wide hot knife seal jaw with 23" of vertical travel and PLC touch pad controller. Additional features E-Stops and status light bar. Accepts film up to 14" in diameter.
Eastey Model ET3620BU, shrink bundler tunnel. Aperture: 20" in Height; 38" in Width. Tunnel length: 52". Equipped with 120" long x 36" wide flex link conveyor and dual exit cooling fans. Control panel with power on / off, temperature, conveyor speed and air velocity. Mounted on height adjustable legs.
