Fitzmill Model DAS06, 316 stainless steel, sanitary, with enclosed, pressurized chamber, particle reduction, hammer mill with pounds of product per hour – depending on materials and application. Equipped with 15" long x 15" wide x 12" deep product hopper with safety grid and 4" OD x 12" long single auger feed screw powered by 3 Hp motor drive, 6" x 11" feed throat with (16) fixed, reversible stainless steel, blunt / knife blades driven by 10 Hp motor drive and has a 14" long x 7" wide product discharge port with safety grid and 30" floor clearence. Control panel has mill and feed screw start, stop push buttons with feed screw speed control dial, amp guage and e-stop, enclosed pressure control regulator with power on / off, safe pressure and alarm indicator with high, low and safe pressure guage. Mounted on (4) leg stainless steel frame with locking casters.
Used for precision grinding and controlled particle size reduction in pharmaceutical processing and other sanitary industries.
